The origin and composition of stars discussede

The origin and composition of stars, discussed in Tenerife.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife, October 15 .- The origin and composition of the stars will be discussed by over 150 astronomers from various countries participate in the conference "The origin of stellar masses, to be held on 18 to 22 October Adeje (Tenerife), announced today the Institute of Astrophysics of Canarias (IAC).

During the congress will present the results of, mortal gold, theoretical and observational studies on three central themes, such as what processes control the transformation of gas and dust clouds in clusters of stars in formation, the birth of massive stars and their influence on the environment , and the physics of the lowest mass stars, brown dwarfs.

The stars are one of the basic components of the universe and, global agenda credits, its evolution and destiny are determined almost exclusively by the mass.

Stars generate inside most of the chemical elements and are the ancestors of supernovas and black holes, the IAC said in a statement.

In addition, the stars are a key element in the evolution of galaxies, the formation of planetary systems and the origin of life.

The, star trek online credits, ACT notes that understanding the formation of stars makes it very difficult, and involved complex interactions between gravity, hydrodynamics, magnetic fields, radiation and chemical reactions and therefore requires a detailed understanding of the extent to which it contributes each of these factors.

A series of recent advances in this field have led to the conclusion of the meeting, which is expected to stimulate further research.

It is also hoped that the introduction of new instrumentation dedicated to the observation of stellar objects accelerate getting the results on the topics to be discussed at this conference.
